Speaker: Kate McNamara Kate has extensive policy and planning experience in the community services sector. She has been focussing on disability since 1997 after the birth of her daughter and specialises in behaviour management training. Kate established the MyTime program in 2006, a community for parents and carers of children with a disability. She went on to develop and coordinate MyTime groups throughout NSW.

Kate is Chair of the Board at Reframing Disability. She is committed to driving agendas in disability and inclusion. ***

The Family Conference was hosted by Plumtree, Reframing Disability and Now & Next. It brings together families of children with disabilities and their allies. The presentations aim to inspire, educate and empower families in building a good life. The conference also celebrates people with a disability who are making a difference in their community.
