Reframing Disability is an uplifting, supportive, and educational space for families raising children with developmental delay, disability or medical needs. It’s a community made by caregivers, for caregivers.

We want families to help shape and grow Reframing Disability, including the programs we run and the community we build.

Reframing Disability has recently engaged Social Ventures Australia, a not-for-profit consultancy, to support the development of our future strategy. This strategy will guide the future direction and focus of our organisation.

As part of this engagement, we will be facilitating focus groups to better understand the needs of the families we serve and how we might better support you going forward. We strongly believe that Reframing Disability is, and should continue to be, an organisation driven by families.

We want to make sure that during this process we hear from families with different backgrounds and experiences. We are calling out for families across NSW to join a focus group facilitated by Reframing Disability.

It will be very interactive and we will have different ways available for families to share their ideas. Everything that you share will be de-identified and will be vital to deepening our impact. The sessions will last 90 minutes, and we hope to record the session with your permission. These recordings will be confidential and will only be used to analyse themes across the different sessions as input into our ultimate strategy.

We know that families are extraordinarily busy, so to thank you for your time and contribution to the focus group, we are offering a $100 gift voucher.
